>>> …For instance, if someone can advertise and sell "Socks", "Untucked Shirts" (let alone Pillows and Pet Rocks), and make millions, then it seems, IMO, inscrutable that a product such as Actipatch, et al. would fare so poorly on the market…<<<

D_L, it certainly seems paradoxical when comparing a pain mitigating product to the “Pillows and Pet Rocks”.

But only if solely comparing product to product without regard to external factors as well.

Comparisons need be made looking at the internal workings of any company and the external forces impacting it.

Though we’ve had some missteps, we’ve had many accomplishments requiring lots of time and money, all while having to work with regulatory agencies that receive funding from powerful established companies in the Pain Arena via application and user fees to them, and that have a powerful lobbying arm, etc.

I have always thought of our accomplishments and FDA cleared products as a potential threat to the “others”. Intrinsically they are. Realistically, and politically, they haven’t been.

Until now…

A big change is on the horizon…the Congressionally passed NOPAIN Act addresses alternative non-opioid treatments along with CMS Insurance reimbursements.

Those biggies should now be seriously looking at BIEL (if not already in process), and I expect a partner/merger/buyout.

NPA and CMS changes everything. The past of BIEL won’t matter to the biggies.

Well, except for the Portable PEMF technology, 5 FDA clearances including musculoskeletal, no side-effects thus eliminating potential litigation, and distributors galore that a partner/buyer can then say “jump!”, and they will reply, “how high?”.

The upcoming CMS massive money flow is the main attraction.

Let the biggies hash it out amongst themselves for BIEL.

We’ll see.

All imo.
