What befuddles me is, the FDA has apparently approved this drug for its intended purpose (reduce cardiovascular inflammation). WTF? Colchicine even at a reduced amount is harmful in itself.

Our government at work.

Yet, when Amarin was jumping through hoops to get Vascepa approved (a totally benign, ultra high safety drug). 2 ADCOMS, plus all the MO shenanigans. It’s ridiculous to even comprehend the FDAs motives for approving this Colchicine based drug?
