If the company goes bankrupt, none of the above happens which is the hope of the naked shorts in Northwest!!! Also, because there are no “ margin” calls on institutions that are simply holding those securities in investment accounts, counterfeit shares look like real shares until one the above events happens or until the enforcement division of one of the regulatory agencies discovers the fraudulent transactions and tries to enforce or force the violators to clear the trades!!! Usually, the hedge funds go under and take everyone with them and the honest investors in Northwest are screwed”
