Either AMD has a "Core 2 Like" surprise up their sleeve or Hector is in complete denial. Unfortunately we're only hearing PR and there's no substance. BTW, I find it iteresting that Intel's NGMA beat AMD's K8 by 40% on average and now AMD is using the same figure for K8L. If true, it would imply that K8L is approx. 80% faster than K8. Does anyone see any architectural changes that would enable an 80% improvement over the existing K8?
