DCV-L is manufactured by NWBO, ATL-DC is manufactured in-house at UCLA - they are otherwise the exact same thing.

How can they be the exact same thing when they have very different manufacturing processes?

We are talking about living cells here. How they develop is very complex. Change the process and you change the result. Just because you bought the same grass seed and use the same fertiilyzer as your neighbor does not mean your lawns are the "exact same thing".

At a minimum we know the initial maturation phase (before adding the lysate in) is a couple days longer for ATL-DC. We know freezing is done before the final maturation step for ATl-DC but after for -L. We know the final maturation is a few hours longer for ATl-DC.

This is not "the exact same thing".
