I'm of the view that CosmeticMD is, in fact, an exterminator. Why? I can't be sure but he writes this:

The major problem is that with equivalent dosing (1:1 Botox Units or 1:3 dysport units) we are seeing 2-3 months duration (time between treatments) with Daxxify, which is actually shorter than with Botox and Dysport

Now, any MD would know that one unit of Daxxify contains one half of the core toxin that is in a unit of Botox, that is, .18 nanograms for a 40 unit dose, or .0045 per unit, compared to Botox, which contains the same .18 nanograms in a 20 unit dose, or .0090 per unit. Daxxify and one unit of Botox are not equivalent dosing.

If you were focused on injecting human subjects, you would pay attention to the amount of core ingredient recommended in the relevant package insert or in the number of units you propose to inject. However, if you were someone accustomed to dealing with infestations of Swiss-Webster mice, you would want to know that one unit of Daxxify and one unit of Botox are equally efficient at dispatching said mice (although you do first have to catch them to inject them and the unit only kills 50%).
