I've heard that LL is driven to cure brain cancers. I believe that she can do more of that in academia then as CEO of a successful company, I don't believe that she'll give up on that goal. I believe that she'll be of great assistance in expanding the role of the DCVax's in her current role, but she'll have greater flexibility in treating brain cancers by staying at UCLA.

I believe that if LP wants to retire, she'll put the company in the hands of an existing manager from a biotech or BP who'll be recognized to be a great fit for the position. I'd not be surprised if she remained Chairman of the Board for some period of time before completely retiring as long as her health remains sound.
