Sab, your opinions are your own and you definitely conduct yourself in a way that I respect - even if I disagree with your thinking about the opinions of investor2014, doc, etc. My professional experience is with pre-commercial biotech companies and I have seen the sausage being made while simultaneously reading message board theories about how the sausage making is going. I don't have any specific inside information about Anavex's progress and status, but I recognize the patterns from the outside - and recognize the message board nonsense that investor2014 and doc put out here, and see some decent people (who want to be even-handed) give their nonsense weight. Their negativity doesn't deserve your consideration but I understand your innate decency compels giving them a listen.

This is what I see happening: Lockheed Martin just showed us their F-35C and what it can do, and some members of our tour group are complaining that it doesn't do well under water and that if the jet were any good then there would be more cup holders - in fact, MIG-29s have great cup holders and plenty of them. Some members of our tour group are like, "yeah, that is a big problem." And some members of our tour group are like, "Why is this a problem? The F-35C can coordinate wiping out the Russian airforce and defenses within 4 hours and the pilots can get coffee when they land. And the cupholder situation is totally acceptable anyway." And the response to that is, "But Investor2014 and Doc have legitimate points about the cup holders. We are doomed."

I am having a hard time understanding how the PR last week could be criticized and have that criticism weighted significant by anyone. The company said, "We need data X, data Y, and two biomarkers to file for AA. And, we have data X, data Y and two biomarkers - here they are:..."

Like our F-35C tour, we have posters saying, "I want to really focus on data Z and some biomarker data that wasn't discussed." OK. Irrelevant, but OK.
