It might well be.

As many of us know from the history of previous penny stock scams, the SEC can be looking at a stock for years, but the first thing most folk know about it is when one day it is suspended from trading.

That's always a cue for the "true longs" to start whining "why didn't the SEC warn us?? boo hoo"
