ex, I'd be careful with your insinuations about financial matters when Prof Keymours Ashkan (or anybody else in "academic medicine") is being discussed.

"Askan's clinic is the biggie in -L Specials so makes sense he will join the PR team. Given that NWBO gets almost nothing from the program it must be fairly lucrative for the other players,"

Members of academic institutions who work in the NHS (such as Prof. Keymours) receive a fixed salary from the academic institution which employs them. In Prof. Ashkan's case that is the University of London ["UL"]. Any money he receives for his work in the NHS will be paid by the NHS to UL, not to Prof. Ashkan. The same applies to NHS or private work that all medics with a University affiliation (Professor, Senior Tutor, Tutor etc) may carry out.

So, to insinuate that Prof. Keymours is himself receiving financial rewards for the work he has done outside his academic institution is not only incorrect but could be considered libelous. If you have any evidence to the contrary you should let the University of London know asap so that they can deal with the contractual breach with their employee.
