PATHETIC It's a shame there are NO BLACK hillbillies in poverty. The Appalachian mountains are some of the poorest parts of this country for all AMERICANS. Like I said before, go back to your PERCH in your GATED community.


Between 2016-2022, The Appalachian Regional Commission said that roughly 14.7% of Appalachian residents lived below the poverty level. This means their income was below $26,246 for a family of two adults and two children.
