Way too expensive. I can't understand how taxes can be willy nilly added without any limits

I dunno how it works in USA, but, well you all know me, always finding ways to find things that don't make a whole lot of sense and then figure out how I can benefit from it....

So, a pack of 20 smokes (that's 10 grams of tobacco) costs 10 euros and change. 100 euros for 100 grams

100 grams of rolling tobacco costs 50 euros, so 1/2 price.

100 grams of pipe tobacco costs 25 euros, so 1/4 price.

I haven't bought a pack of smokes in years, I buy the pipe tobacco, run it through a grinder that fills tubes. My cost per pack is, with the tubes, about 2.55 euros.

I have no idea why this is as it is. I suppose one day they will find someone in the gubmint that is capable of doing basic math and they will figure it all out. (I highly doubt it)
