The real estate magnate, seeing the Donald sitting in his chair on the dais simply took an available seat at a table in the room. Donald Trump is shameless and was proud his behavior was published so he could become even more widely known, and to his confusion more held in more disregard by the important New Yorkers whose approval he wanted.
Donald Trump is a freak who enjoys being abusive and believes he's a victim (a victim of his own bad behavior, but that's something he'll never be able to comprehend). There's no politics to it at all. He's very attractive to other people who feel like victims, like seeing him abuse others, and many aspire themselves to one day being able to become as abusive as he is.
