We were coming off the Golan Heights, tribe of Dan sites. HWY 90 is the way South to the Dead Sea and Masada. It's right south east of Ben Sheit. I was ready for it, was watching like a hawk and there it was. I even made sure I was on the correct side of the bus.


As for renting a car, sure but NOT Jerusalem, the traffic is horrible. The drivers are super aggressive and rude.

As for going in and out of the West Bank, we were on a tour bus, so I am sure that made it easier than einh alone.

Security is serious business there, but as with Mexico, the tourists are left alone per se.
