As the article noted; the pandemic gave work-from-home a serious booster. Our daughters are finding it much easier to manage family and their professional careers. I remember my wife getting a loan on her first business and the banker asking her if she was pregnant or planning to have a baby. He didn't look at her he looked at me because, of course, she was just a girl. If her glare was a baseball bat, that was a dead banker.
The best part was when she paid off the loan, moved her business account to another bank and let him know why. Whenever I think our goofball times are worse, I try to remember how utterly awful it was 40 years ago. I can only imagine how hard it was 40 years before that. Two steps forward, one back.
