The difference in using Odds Ratio for the cytisinicline trial versus in the blarcamesine AD trial is that Achieve was looking at binary outcomes: you totally abstained or you didn't. Doc328 and my biostatistician friend have both said one uses OR as the primary statistical analysis only when you have binary outcomes. It's not the same for sliding scale measurements. Also, Anavex had to introduce a threshold to apply OR. For Achieve, everyone in the trial fit in one box of the other, without imposing a threshold: you totally abstained or you didn't.
