That's funny, but here's one that\s not funny.

CDC Guidance on use and care of masks. The CDC has very poor guidance, on that subject. Just a few days ago I read it. I'll start with a given that CDC doesn't mention.

Masks are collectors of pollutants and infectious substances. Like COVID 19 virus. Any time you handle one you are disturbing the viruses. You are knocking them to other surfaces. They are on your hands or you gloves, if by some remote chance you are wearing protective gloves.

CDC doesn't mention this. They say, that when you take off a mask, temporarily, to put in ni a bag ory our POCKET!. I was shocked when I read that.

I don't claim to be an expert, on the subject, but I may know more than the average bear. I worked for nearly two years at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation , in Eastern Washington.. Every three months we had safety lessons on the use of PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment) That includes masks. Of course we were dealing with radiation, not viruses.

To be responsible, CD should have regular Public Service announcements on theu se and care of masks. I think they intentionally don't, because they don't want to alarm the public, with the inherent dangers of wearing masks.

So what happens. People sit down to eat, at home or in restaurants and lay their virus collectors on the table. They go home, to their spouses and children and laytheir virus collector all over the house.

My Common Sence suggestions for Use and Care of masks.

* Always keep used masks in zip lock baggie, lightly sprayed with a hand sanitizer

* During the day, only touch the ear loops, with your hands

* Carry a small zip lock baggie and a small aerosol can of sanitizer spray.

* When you take of the mask, place itin the baggie. Spray your hands.
* Repeat this process, throughout the day, when handling masks.

* At the end of the day, put the mask in a fresh, lightly sprayed baggie. NEVER lay them on any surface!

Happy Masking!!!
