Uhhhh it’s honestly way different.

Sure it’s a subcutaneous injection, but it’s still a cryopreserved autologous cellular product. That means careful considerations need to be in place for ~~ -200 C (colder than Covid vaccine) and thawing.

Covid vaccine has stability for ~30 day at 2-8 C if it’s not exposed to ambient temps. Covid vaccines are generic and can be administered to anyone. Once you thaw dc-vax it likely needs to be injected relatively quickly due to cryopreservation w/ DMSO. Not to mention GBM patients receiving this are obviously nowhere near as healthy as the average flu vaccine recipient and will need to be monitored in an in patient setting. ( academic hospital and not Walgreens lmao)
