This statement by Dr Lebby was the first clue we have gotten about the pricing of polymer modulators. The incumbent high performance transceivers contain a driver chip. That one component is more than 50% of the total cost. How much more…just “way more!”

To sum up the value proposition that Lightwave Logic’s PICs offer to the data center owners:

1) our PICs are 3x faster per lane than any other product you could buy.

2) our PICs consume 1/10 the voltage than any other product you could buy.

3) our transceivers (that contain our PICs) cost less than half any other product you could buy.

4) our Perkinamine polymer PICs have been through extensive reliability and stability testing far exceeding industry requirements.

Thank you for your business! Our foundry partners and our packaging partners are telling me (the sales rep) that we can deliver two million transceivers every four months going forward. As we add foundry partners those numbers will triple and quadruple. Your data centers should be fully upgraded within two years.

I can envision something close to this happening starting next year.
