Yellowcat, I agree, as you said IDCC could develop a game changing AI patent or application.

IDCC could develop a key game changing patent and or application for AI.

IMHO, This is the same premise under which a lot of long term investors here felt about IDCC in wireless. However, those 'game changing' or even possibly essential wireless patents were implemented, challenged, and infringed for many years without a license and without payment. It is possible (but hopefully not) those game changing AI patent(s) or application(s) will be subject to its own infringement and challenges without payment and license. My continued hope is IDCC's AI technology going forward will be widely accepted, adopted, and implemented without challenge, infringement, and litigation through an upfront license and with payment.

IMHO, I do not suggest that IDCC get into the manufacture of its own semiconductor. My point is that QCOM and NVDA already each have their own semiconductors and can more easily implement their own AI technologies on that semiconductor. You want the semiconductor then you have to license the AI technology provided on the chip. No license, no semiconductor.

I agree with your comment.

IDCC just has to me a place that inspires the best and brightest of electrical engineers and researchers. It is small enough where an individual's efforts can make a major impact.
