crude oil: I I imagine that by posting such an anti_EV article that you harbor some or ALL of the feelings expressed in the article. gif you have any way of direct access to the author , please communicate my thoughts to her.

Environmental =unfriendliness of EVs: I have no idea which planet Stella lives on. I worked as a chemical engineer for over 40 years, specializing in oil and gas. The main problem with gasoline cars is the distributed nature of pollution. It is much harder to address mobile sources than stationary, as
I am certain you can guess.

1. Battery Damage is Stress-inducing. I have driven Teslas for the last seven+ years and have NEVER felt the stress that Stella is talking about. As far as range anxiety is concerned, I may have to agree with Stella. There HAVE been instances where I had to slow down in order to make it to my next charging stop. However, in 7+ years I have NEVER been stranded

2. I would recommend better planning of charge stops. My wife and I have driven on many occasions to the Bay are in California from South Orange County,. The total distance is over 450 miles. We ALWAYS stop at the Kettleman City charger and pick up a full charge for about $30. Since the car can be left unattended we walk to some restaurant nearby and monitor the charging on my smart phone. If you guys are capable of driving the 450 miles NONSTOP, THAT is not possible with ANY EV.

3. PERSONAL SAFTEY I think if you are forced to stop at a gas station far removed from civilization, in the dead of night, you may have the same misgivings. I certainly would!

4. WRTTEN LIKE A NEOPHYTE: Most experienced TESLA owners know exactly what to do AHEAD OF TIME. If you were alone in the car, finding a course of action can definitely be intimidating. In my humble opinion, the SAME problem applies in gasoline cars.

5. Tesla has an online manual to consult on the touch screen. If you are in the car by yourself, you may have to stop to read it. I am not certain how that is any different than a gasoline car.

6. Locking the car. Most Tesla owners have learnt that the best way is to have the TESLA app running on their phones. Then locking and unlocking the car are accomplished by JUST approaching the car!

7. COST; A full charge of a 100-KWH battery requires about $50 during peak hours. SHOW ME A GAS STATION SELLING GAS FOR THE EQUIVALENT PRICE OF about $2.50 PER GALLON!!!!

Crusade and Stella: You guys represent the final holdouts who will have to be dragged, KICKING AND SCREAMING, to EVs. But, believe me, your options are fast running out.
