Dunno if I'm making the problem worse by walking on it.

Not knowing the severity of your fracture, my best guess is that you'll most likely be told to stay off it as much as possible for a couple/few days. The reasoning is that the majority of your pain will arise due to swelling and not the fracture itself. Unless it needs to be surgically repaired for some reason, there is nothing much to be done for a fracture of a toe- especially the little one. Other than tape it to the adjacent to help stabilize it- again to help lessen pain. It will heal...eventually.

In the meantime, you can hope and dream that you'll see the hot doc again for follow-up... 🥴
