8.63% of institutional $AVXL ownership is non-index style investments and thus still consistently under 10%. As a reminder the index style funds all use a relatively simple calculation based on company MCap and some threshold criteria for when a company enters or leaves a fund/index. Indices further have criteria for eg. sector and industry such as healthcare. There is no one judging the science, merits or any other WGT criteria of the constituent companies.
