It is simply jargon, biotech sound important jargon. This is the sign of a bullsheater. Whenever somebody tries to give the ole jargon explaination, my adivce is grab on to your own wallet. Jargon is a red flag. An all hat and no cattle red flag. Have you have had a good doctor speak in jargon. None do.

People speak in jargon when they are trying to impress you, or impress themselves. Or sell you something.
Listen to the stooges, trying to make a sale:
Close the shareholders. The stooges were not good closers, but they did know the sales jargon.
