My source at FHFA (as stated before, works directly for Sandra) has told me about Sandra's reluctance to engage ANYONE in conversation around the office, says that it's a topic that those around her all agree on; a general lack of civil discourse/banter. My source says that they all speculate that Sandra may not be very smart, that for as smooth as she is during public events, she just isn't very well read with colleagues and underlings. Her lack of movement on release may be as simple as not knowing how to approach it, Yellen has admitted publicly to a lack of knowledge on the GSE situation.
