Connect some dots???
So this article just came out about ME/CFS. Very nasty stuff. Give it a read. Why does it get a link and a shoutout?? The crux is "viral persistence". But what else does this article discuss. A LOT about enterovirus--they call EV
https://journals.plos.org/plospathogens/article?id=10.1371/journal.ppat.1011523

Most relevant to ME/CFS is the fact that some people who suffered mild or asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 later began experiencing a post-viral illness that fulfills most or even all of the IOM criteria for ME/CFS [32]. Increasingly, these people are then told by their doctors that they have ME/CFS
Ignoring the abundant evidence for EV involvement in ME/CFS has slowed research into the possible dire but hidden consequences of EV infections, including persistence in virus reservoirs.

So what--that is not 3CL Protease related--that is not covid. Covid is not a enterovirus. REALLY?? Are you sure?? What could be a common denominator??
A striking number of ME/CFS patients mention an acute infection with EBV or some other human herpesvirus (HHV) as the start of their illness. What did we hear (read) Dr Hanaway discuss in his treatment of patients with Tollovid??
But we continue to find in our beta testing that this (Tollovid) is a critical tool for people, and it seems to be acting in twofold. One, around those where there is a viral persistence, but it (Tollovid) also seems to be helping with the viral reactivation of the herpetic viruses like Epstein Barr.. BUT N O W--if we CONNECT THESE DOTS (okay scientists and Drs will do this)--PLEASE READ
One major similarity is already known between these virus groups: namely, the main protease and 3 C protease in enteroviruses.
Despite differences in size and shape and being enveloped and non-enveloped respectively, coronaviruses and enteroviruses share a very similar protease [the main protease/3C-like protease in coronaviruses, and the 3C protease in enteroviruses].
The 3C/M proteases share a similar but not identical active site, which serves as a good therapeutic target for both virus groups.
