Breach of what? A contract with Gerald? Why haven't you taken it up in the courts if you have a case at all? I get it. You don't. Probably word of mouth and things didn't work out as planned and none of this is your fault. Got it.
Sounds like someone invested way too much. Was it greed, or did Gerald twist your arm? Greed is a valid excuse as long as you own it and not try to blame others for your own greed. But you're not doing that. Everything is Gerald's fault. No part of the decision to invest was on you, nor was the amount invested. It's all on Gerald. Got it. LMAO
