I'll take a stab at it and no I haven't read every opinion on this board or DD given here from bulls and bears and I am also new to trading 3'rd year now so yes I'm greener than the days pps.

Here I go with my opinion and anyone here with more time in feel free to post your opinions on the topic including adding to Jetmek's post who was a gentleman in his response and I appreciated the opinion from his perspective. So I ask that anyone who furthers this concept does so as well so its a mini thread of opinions and not an opportunity to choke each other on the board.

*** ALL MY OPINION *** Not saying its right or entirely provable...

1- It was cheaper for Linda to take a chance and fight to keep the DBMM ticker than to start over.
2- She also I assume wanted to keep the name DBMM as a brand
3- If and I STRESS IF there was some MM and Lender fraud regarding illegal shorting then letting go of the ticker would have resulted in that instance of fraud to not have to be covered in the future. This I know is a central argument for longs here and I am guilty of having that opinion. I am unaware if those positions were covered and I still don't have any data of the share structure prior to the reverse splits and after. So I am in the dark regarding any serious DD and share forensics here. I know its a long shot and I agree that it is. My long standing defense of this narrative is that it will only be known to me satisfactory weather it exists or not is a full share accounting done through the DTC buy subpoena.
I also understand that at times even that will not guarantee access to that information. I am also not saying this idea of a NSS position here is by any means a "FACT" it is strictly an opinion and guess until proven otherwise by the method mentioned earlier.

4- Yes I agree Linda will want to use the ticker to pay herself and or use the proceeds to pay operating expenses for Digital Clarity, and I am unaware to date as to where any share sales proceeds have gone to accounting wise and where it was used.

I'm very new here considering some posting here have been involved since the beginning and I can understand that 2 reverse splits are brutal as I've experienced more than a few in other plays. I can also appreciate much of the real central arguments regarding the difference between DBMM saying something and doing something from the Bull and Bear perspectives. Not every Bullish post to me is a pump just as much as every Bearish post here is a bash.

Please feel free to continue and add to this conversation "Why did Linda fight to keep DBMM and not just start over" But I ask we do it as traders not 5yr olds at the school sandbox. Jetmeck was kind enough to share his opinion in a professional manner and it is appreciated. His response was posted yesterday. I don't think this question is about who is right and who is wrong but more about different opinions as to why and let the readers dig into it with an open mind who knows some of the opinions could even be right from both sides in the end..
