Hey folks,

So, if I'm not mistaken, it appears that RD again posted (most likely not on purpose) more "exciting" news about something that turned out to have NOTHING to do with us. This seems to happen frequently over the last decade.
I know for sure that he understands most of the finance and legal issues here better than I as that's not my field, yet this pattern of behavior never ends, which tells me this is a case of intense CONFIRMATION BIAS causing him to see promise where there isn't any. Likely, this is hope and denial.

After watching the left and right become more extreme in the last few years and battle it out in the streets and on social media, I have become convinced that 90% of the general population suffers from Confirmation Bias (and isn't aware of it), which in my opinion is a kind of mental condition. It is NOT a reflection on character, but a fear of losing value if you're wrong or having your sense of security wiped out when you realized you saw everything incorrectly.... the old, "well I was wrong about x, y, and z, maybe I'm wrong about everything" problem- a scary proposition.

Personally, I relish in finding out I'm wrong. The moment I find out I was wrong about one thing, I realize that's one less thing I'm no longer going to be making incorrect statements about. But for most people it's very frightening. People's entire sense of security is often wrapped up in the idea that they understand this or that.

In closing let me state that
-
1. It is my guess RD means no harm
2. This pattern of his will likely continue
3. And I wager that we will NOT be receiving escrow money soon.
