skitahoe, I think your numbers are way off here:

50 a month would require about 12 cleanroom

According to NWBio, they could produce enough DCVax-L to treat an average of 50 patients per month, using 2 clean rooms. That equals about 25 patients per clean room per month. Therefore, it would only take about about 40 clean rooms (using the manual method) to scale to 1,000 patients per month, as the demand grows.

This was last year, and it was based on: (1) only using 2 clean rooms, and (2) it was before the most recent expansion at Sawston, that added new and additional clean rooms, and (3) using the manual method, without Flaskworks devices:



I don’t believe that the Sawston facility will be able to produce enough DCVax-L to treat 1,000 patients per month on day 1 after initial approval in the UK. But, Dr. Bosch was saying that they could quickly and gradually scale to treat up to 1,000 patients per month, to treat GBM patients in the UK, Germany and the rest of the EU.
