Bioelectronics Corp (BIEL)

Ten years ago, when that request for proposals went out from DARPA, Bioelectronics Corp. had been around for over a decade. They had an FDA cleared device for twelve years at that point. I would argue that BIEL is now behind the times. They haven't developed a new product in decades.

I would like to believe that they were aware of the notice published by DARPA and responded appropriately at the time. Obviously, nothing came of it. I other words, DARPA said no thanks. However, the ElectRx program is still running at DARPA, (last time I checked was a couple of years ago, but it was still funding research in 2020).

No reason why the company can't reach out to folks at DARPA and see if there is any interest now.
