I watched the board and some of the people doing and utilizing options for quite a while and decided that there was opportunity.

Mostly covered calls which worked well for me.

Naked options have been more up and down, with some being very successful and some being total loss. Net, I am ahead enough to feel that it has been worthwhile.

There is no question that having a stash of trading shares and writing covered calls against them is my best approach. Although lately the volatility (not counting the last few days) has been so low that doing covered calls has not been worth it.
