Not just the FDA; the broader market, now?

And it would be hard for them [the FDA] to miss all the studies Geo has been linking to on an almost daily basis uncovering great things regarding Sigma1 receptors/chaperones.

Well, not only by FDA drug-approval insiders, but, now, a much broader number of biotech stock investors. After today's AVXL price and volume increases, it might be that the Anavex Story is finally getting heard and understood by "the market."

Let's watch to see in the coming days and weeks. I've got my owned AVXL position in my strong hands; gonna sit back and watch.

But the market-smart investors who have short positions, owning shares they will have to "cover" if the AVXL share price ascends, sooner or later may have to liquidate their positions; which in the case of the shorties they must buy AVXL shares at market prices --- which appear now to be entering a continuing share price ascent. A FONC event (fear of not covering). If I don't sell my AVXL shares, in a price-crash scenario, I can lose only what I invested in them. The opposite for those in a FONC event. The price to cover an AVXL short position is unconstrained. A share of AVXL might hit $100. If you've got a few tens of thousands of shares shorted, it would be an economic disaster. For shorties, a FONC event can be real --- disastrous.

I wish my AVXL-shorting friends the very best. Not a stock investing game I'd ever play; especially with Anavex Life Sciences Corp.
