Methinks: Doesn’t it sound like the hacker needs to be in possession of the car to hack it? Wouldn’t this be harder to do than a car using software to protect it? Have you heard of Volkswagen having any problems using the TPM to protect it?

Good point about the UN!! I’m not sure what is happening, but hasn’t the TPM been tested in the real world conditions and proven itself?? Would the TCG still be going if software is stronger than hardware? The TPM isn’t perfect but haven’t hackers had an easier time hacking software security only solutions??
