I think your most valid point is: what can be done to make our transformational tech known and “understood” by the public?
The only reason I think Lebby hasn’t done a TED style talk is that not only do our foundry partners and potential Tier 1 customers want us to be discreet, it’s possible the US government does as well.
The Chinese openly boast they are ahead of us in photonics, which could be read as a bluff; and the US.Gov not only wants to be the first to integrate our novel materials into silicon photonics, but a head start making products that innovate with it…
Eventually, I’d like us to be able to license it to China; otherwise we will never truly be ubiquitous.
