Question for Phantom and all others with more biotech knowledge that me near the end of this, and feel free not to read any of this as it will be a bit time consuming. (Disclaimer, I own a TIL (tumor infiltrating lymphocyte) company, but TIL is not what this is about)
OK, In this new article just out (Newly Discovered T-Cells Could Rid Late-Stage Cancer Patients of Tumors):
They talk about a "new" finding of multi-pronged T-cells.
(I will put the original link from Cardiff University at the very end of this post.)

In the above article where is says "the biggest development in cancer therapy", a click on it takes you here (Targeting of multiple tumor-associated antigens):

https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(23)00696-7?_returnURL=https%3A%2F%2Flinkinghub.elsevier.com%2Fretrieve%2Fpii%2FS0092867423006967%3Fshowall%3Dtrue

In the second link, in the introduction, a click on footnote/reference number "2" is a paper written by Padmanee Sharma and James Allison about immune checkpoint therapy (from 2015), but this paper is not really much relevant to this post.

OK, now my question and I'm just asking for best guess because I don't even know if my question makes any sense or not, or can even be answered.
Are these "multi-pronged T-cells" a result of because TIL therapy was used and ONLY because TIL therapy was used?
Or, because (in a sense) immunity is stored in the bone marrow "memory", is the bone marrow "memory" producing these multi-pronged T-cells naturally on it's own for some other reason BESIDES the TIL therapy?
