I don't know if the trigger for hedge funds that are short NWBO to cover will be based on a calculated target / profit price. I always assumed they were the lower level soldiers and were doing this part for profit but part as being asked to. So I think the actual trigger would be seeing a fellow short HF breaking rank and trying to cover before them. Because the stock price is an escalator down (carrying multiple short hedge funds) but a space ship rocketing up (seating for only one) when it turns. My speculation.
