>>Novocure said it saw favorable results from an interim analysis for a Phase 3 clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of Tumor Treating Fields therapy.

The oncology company said the trial combines its Tumor Treating Fields therapy with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine for the treatment of patients with unresectable, locally advanced pancreatic cancer.

An independent data-monitoring committee reviewed the data for the patients enrolled in the clinical trial, and recommended that the trial proceed to final analysis, the company said.

Novocure intends to review the data in 2024.
