Hey Horse, I’m sensing something is just not right. You seem just a bit too eager to sell me that bridge.

The Brooklyn Bridge has 150,000 vehicles that cross it everyday. If I just charge a $10 per vehicle toll, a practical bargain for that Manhattan crowd, that’s nearly $600 million a year in revenue. Add revenue from the trademark, and movie and copy rights, the Bridge has got to be worth at least $20 billion on a DCF basis.

So why are you selling me the bridge for so cheap? Are you telling me everything I need to know? Something about Lower Manhattan? Is the growing trends in e-bikes the reason you want to unload this iconic over pass? Just not getting it. Climate change? We’re friends, so give it to me straight.
