Americans still have more in their checking accounts now than they did prior to the pandemic.

Americans might have lost their taste for living close to the edge financially with only an illiquid home asset?


Who am I kidding? I'm sure consumers will continue spending until their bank accounts are as depleted as they were in 2019.

We've run out of other people's Social Security taxes needed to subsidize our low income tax rates.
