You lose all sense of scale looking out across the miles at the mountains - purple mountains majesty and purple haze - great scenery and venue for “expanding one’s mind!!!”

Not too far from Roswell and a skinwalker-type ranch or two. Maybe it’s aliens and maybe it’s the peyote or some of both, but I could swear I met coneheads from Remulac, near France
