Myth, thank you so very much for those lyrics. With my severe hearing loss, I don't get the lyrics from many songs

My Mom & Dad opened a beer joint, in Oklahoma City, in Oct 1945. We lived in a two room "apartment" behind the Rendezvous. During the day I'd spend a lot of sitting in aback booth. Many of the customers were returning Vets. I'm sure that I talked to more of those warriors Talk about War Stories!

To this day, I have a reverence for those that fought and died for The Red, White and Blue.
