What? people don't believe I'm sincere because I don't go to shareholder meetings? Maybe that is true with the good ol' boys, but I don't think most 'normal' people think that way.

If I own Microsoft I wouldn't be sincere, a 'real' investor if I don't go to their annual shareholder meetings? There is a reason for SEC filing requirements of public companies. It's to keep shareholders from being duped. Shareholders with very large numbers of shares can be duped just as easily as those with a few shares.

"It is a bad way to discover truth....trying to cause investors to defend their positions" I have found with this group that it is not a very effective approach...because they don't seem to know much..with a few exceptions, but that is valuable information too...if everyone had good answers I'd be more convincable. KCC has been helpful on occasion. As for who I care about? - I care about the naive who buy into the "story" without hearing both sides of the issues.
