RMB, I believe that BCBS work together with those companies and agencies that they manage formularies for to decide which meds get covered on formulary and which don’t get covered. In the case of BCBS FEP, I believe it’s the federal health employee plan administrators (FHEP)that have decided not to cover Vascepa, not BCBS. I agree with you that it clearly induces infringement.. I emailed IR and asked them to provide clarity on how this is being allowed and what, if anything, Amarin is doing to address the matter. The federal government heavily favors generics and doesn’t care much about skinny labels or patents. IMO
