On Smart Photonics news page, there is a video (usually the company has these videos made themselves) which has Dr. Michael Lebby/Lightwave Logic as part of their presentation. Indeed it appears there is a strong working relationship between the two CEOs/companies.

I believe someone posted this video already on this board... but worth putting up again as it is on Smart Photonics' website (second video down on this "News" item):

And btw, while they mention receiving $75M in that video, in this above news release they've received an additional $100M more recently.
