They are going to fight tooth and nail to keep NWBO from getting a judgment against them.

I think that the MMs are in deep trouble either way - whether there is an judgement or even if there is a settlement. The latter would be with less pomp and circumstance but still be well known even if the details are not. Thus either of the above will be a disaster for the MMs et al. Even a "mere" settlement will greatly encourage others to get a "mere" settlement as well. Their only shot at salvation is a WIN at trial. But as many have pointed out, including the defendants themselves, this is a very risky path to steer. Discovery will have many likely pitfalls for them. Possible whistle blowers who know where all the skeletons are buried. And the real possibility that they LOSE at trial with a resulting payout that may be many multiples of what a settlement would result in. This could also lead to a significant risk of CRIMINAL CHARGES and actual jail time, not just a large monetary penalty which to someone with billions is only a mere wrist slap.
So, Citadel, choose your poison. Things do not look so good for you.
