They will mainly act as distribution centers for vaccines and places where patients can get their shots from a certified staff. Again, a lot of ground work including training, processes, etc need to be implemented and blessed by various administrators for this to become a reality. It will also be a financial battle between the hospital admin and pharmacy admin too because part of the potential revenue stream is displaced from hospital to pharmacy center. It’s not going to be easy.

On the other hand, the hospital staff will still need to be trained on leukapheresis regardless and they will need to develop their processes around this.
