APA CONCERNED ABOUT ELECTRIC VEHICLES

We're absolutely convinced we haven't heard the last on this subject," he said. "Lithium-ion is just not that stable. We predict that as electric vehicles get older, ones using that technology will be more prone to catch fire.".

"It's a worry for us," he said. "Our hope, long term, is that lithium-ion is replaced with something that's more stable."

Iny said the APA still recommends EVs with lithium-ion batteries, adding, "but we are aware the situation could go sideways."

We know lithium is unstable and will kill people. That seems acceptable in their minds....
New EVs seem just as likely to catch fire because EM radiation causes overcharge/discharge of lithium batteries leading to thermal runaway.

Is there a strategy to distract people away from looking at the basic data, like using humor?
Is the data being reducing to the absurd?
Is there an exercise to create more forum verbiage to drown out evidence?
