Mets are vastly more talented, but with a manager who has forgotten how to manage (I personally believe he has lost the team for weeks if I'm being honest), he really has I'm convinced it, and a group of players/team that has 0 heart. Glass jaw comes to mind. This should of been a 90 win season easy, but because of this team debacle in every sense of the word, they I think have a good shot at 90 losses, with a outside chance at 100. Yes they are they bad of underachievers, but I'm blad both buck and eppler jobs are safe for this, that gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I really, really don't like this team. There is not a year, that even comes close to my dislike over this team. Yes you were right they were not 100 win team like last year they overachived, but this team by accident should be significantly better than this, since April 22nd only two teams have played worse Oakland and KC and they are historically bad teams. But everybody is in there head, and why the manager took out Baty for mendick I will never know. They got lucky because mendick (Who should of never been called up) hit the perfect double play ball, the brewers botch it, and the mets still can't take advantage.
This weekend the mets score a ton of runs, and they will lose because they won't pitch. The constant, of it is always some way to lose.
And could buck explain to me why he uses his best three relevers when we are losing, but when the game is tied or dare I say they got the lead that is the time for Josh Walker and the lefty today who I can't even remember the guys name. If your gonna use your best relievers, how about you use them when you have a lead or tied. What was that lefty doing in the game in the 7th inning? This weekend they will have a lead late and be throwing Leone or something. Shaking my head with the inept managing, and as I said I truely believe this team has quit on there manager weeks ago. The only answer was to fire him weeks ago. Now your stuck with this guy for the rest of the season, what can I tell you.
Please Mets owner time to rid yourself of this roster. Pay some salary and try to get prospects we need to start over, everybody must go, I mean just about everybody. Shaking my head. All is just my opinion of course.
