I'm really interested to see how the partnership of IMEC and ASML in conjunction with other vendor partners and collaborators will hopefully provide more productive developments with the integration of PIC that support wafers and reduction of power hungry electronic drivers with new designs and goals of increasing data throughput with better architecture.

Imec, the research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies, and ASML a supplier to the semiconductor industry, are to intensify their collaboration in the next phase of developing a state-of-the-art high-numerical aperture (High-NA) extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography pilot line at imec. The intensified collaboration plans on lithography and metrology technology between the two semiconductor players are in line with the ambitions and plans of the European Commission and its member states (Chips Act, IPCEI) to strengthen innovation to tackle societal challenges. Part of the collaboration between imec and ASML is therefore captured in an IPCEI proposal which is currently in review by the Dutch government

It would be great if they could include testing with polymers and mention Lightwave in some results sets by this time next year. If cutting back on resources utilize Earth's natural resources is one of their stated goals, it would seem that EO polymers are a natural fit. So, IMEC should work with the best providers, right. I think that LWLG is at the top of that list!

Fingers crossed.
